Therapy Intensives in NYC & Online

Focused support when weekly therapy doesn’t fit.

What Are Therapy Intensives?

Sometimes weekly therapy feels like too much. Therapy intensives are extended, one-time sessions designed to give you focused attention on what matters most right now. These sessions offer clarity, tools, and direction you can carry forward—without committing to ongoing weekly appointments.

Available virtually in NY, VT, ID, and FL, or in-person at my Brooklyn office.

Intensive Types

Individual

A dedicated space to dive deep into one pressing area of your life. You’ll leave with insight, practical tools, and a clearer path forward.

Common focus areas include:

  • Stress, burnout, and overwhelm

  • Career transitions and workplace challenges

  • Boundary-setting in relationships and at work

  • Reconnecting with your needs when life feels scattered

Best for individuals who want to find their footing and leave with tools they can use right away. An intensive can be especially helpful when weekly therapy doesn’t feel realistic, whether because of time, cost, or simply where you are in life.

Duration: 2 hrs

Cost: $450

Couples

When relationship patterns feel stuck, sometimes a longer, focused session is more effective than stretching the work across weeks.

In a couples intensive, you’ll:

  • Learn and practice structured communication tools

  • Identify recurring patterns that keep you feeling disconnected

  • Develop strategies to interrupt those patterns in real time

  • Leave with a framework to continue using at home, week after week

Best for couples who feel stuck in recurring patterns and want focused time to reset. In a longer session, you’ll have the space to slow down, practice new communication tools, and leave with a clear framework you can keep using together.

Duration: 3 hrs

Cost: $900

Is a Therapy Intensive Right for You?

Therapy intensives may be a good fit if:

  • Weekly therapy feels overwhelming or unrealistic right now

  • You want clarity and tools around a specific issue

  • You’re looking for focused, short-term support without a long-term commitment

  • You’ve tried traditional therapy before but want to approach things differently

What to Expect

  • Preparation: Before your intensive, you’ll complete a short questionnaire so we can focus on what matters most to you.

  • Session: We’ll meet for 2 or 3 hours (with a short break midway) to explore, practice, and create a path forward.

  • Aftercare: You’ll leave with tailored notes and recommendations to help you integrate what we covered.

Who Therapy Intensives Are Not For

Intensives are designed for focused support and skill-building, not long-term or crisis care. They may not be the right fit if you are:

  • Seeking in-depth trauma processing or treatment for complex PTSD

  • Currently in crisis or needing emergency support

  • A couple wanting to address infidelity, abuse, or acute relational crises

  • Looking for ongoing therapy or long-term treatment planning

If you’re unsure whether an intensive is right for you, I’m happy to help you decide or recommend next steps.
